We will be back to try more. The chicken tenders taste like nothing I have had before. They are really huge and tender. The catfish is really good. The yams the mac and cheese the fries the drinks. You have to just try!!! The staff was amazing and very sweet. Had a chance to meet one of the chief's. Gave her much thanks
A hidden gem! We walked in and our waitress was very friendly. It wasn't busy so we seated ourselves. Loaded nachos were good. Different, had a hint of what I want to say, was cinnamon? I enjoyed it. I honestly was full just from the starter, but was really looking forward to the main dishes. They did not disappoint. The salmon was juicy and packed with flavor. The shrimp in my grits cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back!
This place is a hidden gem in the Argentine district! Highly recommend you make your way down here for a fantastic meal!
The staff is friendly and prompt to greet you and explain the process. You'll connect to their wifi, scan a QR code for their menu, and pick your table. Quick and efficient.
The food is definitely the star of the show. We opted for their fried catfish plate with collard greens and spaghetti sides and their daily special black eyed peas with sweet potato cornbread. Let me tell ya, those were some of the best black eyed peas I've had, and the cornbread adds a little sweetness to the dish. Yum!
The fried catfish plate was excellent, well seasoned and fresh. Can't go wrong with either meal.
Best place! New Cajun Soul Food Restaurant in Argentine. KS Let me just tell you the food is delicious! The service is great. I love the ladies! I have been there with my family 3 times since they opened in December. I have tried something new each time and was not disappointed! Fried Pickles, Fried Okra, Fish & Chips, Chicken Fried Chicken with potatoes and green beans š Shrimp and Grits.
Nice family owned restaurant, everything was fantastic! We didn't like the jalapeno cornbread ( no jalapenos, and bad texture & taste). Great service, and great place to take family and friends.
Omg!!! We tried this new place and it was soooooo good š„ The food and service both were on point!! šš¼ Saturday is Happy Hour with 1/2 price apps and drinks/shotsā¦ we definitely took advantage! The bartender Kristen was super cool, and her concoctions did not disappoint. We ordered the fried pickles and jalapeƱo cornbread to start and babbbyyy when I tell you this cornbread was everything, wow, it was absolutely delicious and whatever goodness came with it was like a cinnamon butter, almost pie tasting something?! š¤¤ I was torn between getting the chicken fried chicken and Cajun pasta so Kristen helped me decide and I went with the pasta. I donāt eat seafood so subbed the shrimp for chicken and it also had andouille sausage. It was bomb! So much flavor! Hubby ordered the wings and catfish, with greens and spaghetti as sides. He was equally impressed. And he is so picky about his fish! I did taste his spaghettiā¦.yes yes and yes!!! The cook came out and let us test taste the beans she was preparing for Sunday, they were fire as well. š„ The flavor canāt be beat! I have not been this excited about a new restaurant in a LONG time. I canāt wait to go back!!
š£ļø Run donāt walk!!! Support this black, woman owned business, they truly deserve it!!
I love me some Cajun cooking and was super excited for this place to come into Argentine! I've had the fried catfish, cajun pasta & gumbo, and the food (more importantly the flavors) across the board are great! Wonderful staff too if you're someone that likes to strike up a conversation. This place brings something different to the table in this neighborhood and I highly recommend šš¤
They were understaffed when I showed up, there was very little direction on what to do and I actually waited around for about 5 minutes before asking the lady in the kitchen if they have open seating or if I needed to keep waiting until they sat me. The food was incredible and came out in a timely fashion, but the portion size was quite small for the price of the dish IMO. I ended up needing to ask for more rice for the rest of my soup left over because I was still quite hungry (I'm a 190 lb man). The most surprising part of my visit was when I got the bill and saw that they charged me an extra 4 dollars for an ice-cream-scoop-sized scoop of rice...I was very disappointed. Great food, small portion sizes, bad service, at least when I went there.
